Off Road Motocross has really taken off in the last 5 years. Its tremendous growth is due to the sport becoming more of a lifestyle rather than an individual sport! The audience numbers have increased to a fan base that range from young kids starting at 5 yrs to adults of 35 – 40 yrs of age. The media exposure that motocross is receiving in Canada and the USA has made the sport a family activity where it involves husband and wife, boyfriend/girlfriend and kids! A few years ago there was not a dedicated motocross magazine in Canada, now we have three (3) publications dedicated to motocross and off-road competition. Women in the Motorcycle Community are the largest growth segment in today’s consumer market. The past trend was 90% male and 10% female riders in the motorcycle community, TODAY those numbers have changed dramatically to a whopping 40 – 45% female use and interest in motorcycling.

CORY LEE ~ ORR-TV Segment Host

Off Road Rider TV isn’t interested in shooting the actual competitive races, but what goes on behind the scenes. We’ll take the viewing audience to the pits to hear from the professional off road riders on what it takes to be competitive. Talk to the mechanics that prepare the bikes and learn their trade secrets on how to get the best performance out of their machines. Talk to the manufactures about how they’ve improved their product for the professional rider and amateur. Interview after-market performance suppliers and find out what’s new in the market place. Interview the up and coming stars of the Off Road Rider World and hear from the young 5 – 6 yr olds on their goals as dirt bike riders.

There isn’t a ½ hr. television program being broadcasts in Canada or the USA today that is producing the type of series we’re promoting. This is a ground breaking motorcycle magazine format style series that provides everything to every type of rider. The only advertising outlet currently available for manufactures and aftermarket performance suppliers is to advertise periodically on televised motocross events or one of the eighteen (18) Off Road magazines published in Canada and the USA.

 Episodic Story Examples

“Behind the Bars” ~ Interviews & spotlights Pro-Riders. Following the ‘Pros’ through the grueling training during the week, on and off the bike – to the intense competition of professional Off Road Racing and what it takes to be a winner!

“Hot Performance Tips” ~ Let the professional motorcycle mechanic help you get the best performance from your bike of choice. Each episode focuses on a specific bike with performance refinements.

Pro-Riding Tips” ~ An industry has been made in training videos and DVD’s from professional riders. Each week we feature a pro-rider sharing training tips and riding skills.

“Bike Reviews/Shootouts” ~ Having the best machine can make or break a rider’s chances at the podium or an enjoyable ride through the countryside. Every season the off road enthusiast buys the multitude of dirt biking magazines to read up on the new factory models being tested and compared in their shootout issue. Off Road Rider TV will turn still photos and written reports into live action testing with actual rider interviews. Bike reviews ranging from the best machines for the first time rider to reviews for the pro-rider.

“The Riding Zone” ~ This is the best part for complete family involvement. These segments will focus on activities that the whole family can be involved in so you can ride together. With tracks and trails coming and going without warning each year, it’s difficult for the off road enthusiast to know what spots are still hot or not. Each episode will feature a select track, trail or tour.

“The History of MX in Canada” ~ The evolution of MX from Roger DeCoster racing at the Copetown Canadian World GP in the 1970’s to Ross “Roller Ball” Peterson in the first Canadian National Exhibition Supercross in 1980.
